In recent years, virtual communication has become an increasingly popular model of interaction for individuals, communities, and organizations. With the exponential growth of the social media popularity, messaging apps, and virtual reality platforms, people can now interact with others in ways that were previously impossible. However, as virtual communication becomes more prevalent, it also poses new challenges and risks.
We invite the scientific community - researchers, professors, and PhD students to submit papers that explore the challenges posed by virtual communication, including but not limited to:
- The impact of virtual communication on the individualization of communication habits
- The role of virtual communication in shaping public opinion and political discourse
- The challenges of building trust and credibility in virtual communication
- The ethical issues associated with virtual communication
- The use of virtual communication in education and training
- The implications of virtual communication for business and commerce
We are also welcoming submissions for the Conference which address the following topics:
- Has online journalism changed the landscape of news media in the last 25 years?
- Social media impact on online journalism and the way news is consumed
- Has the rise of online journalism led to a decline in the quality and credibility of news reporting?
- Online journalism role in shaping public opinion and political discourse
- Has the rise of online journalism led to increased diversity and representation in the news media?
- Online journalism influence on the way we consume news, and what are the implications for democracy
- What are the prospects for the future of online journalism, and how will it continue to shape the news media landscape?
- Fake news and misinformation in the online environment
